In its hardshelled case of issue, pebbled and wavy textured exterior and featuring a unique design on the lid, inside lid in white cotton with the Philadelphia maker mark in black ink inscribed "Wm. WILSON & SON, Manufacturers of Silver Wear. S.W. Cor. of 5th. & Cherry Sts. PHILADa", recessed medal bed in maroon felt, swing hook closure, measuring 66.5 mm (w) x 115 mm (h) x 21 mm (h), the lid having separated from the base but remains attached via the hinge ribbon inside, case fine.
