For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
A Royal photograph album formerly belonging to The Queen’s head Chauffeur, Mr. William Leslie Chivers R.V.M , containing photographs of the Royal visit to Coventry on Mark 23rd, 1956. The front and rear covers of the album are constructed of brown faux leather (leatherette), embossed on the front with a Royal Fleur-de-lis as well as arabesques, and tied together with a fabric core along the edges using a continuous string of leather. The first page is inscribed “W. Chivers”, while the second page is inscribed “Coventry 23rd March 1956”. The following pages contain large black-and white photographs depicting the Royal Family, including Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip attending public functions in the Royal Daimler limousine. The album measures 340 mm (w) x 264 mm (l), and features nine very large photographs in total. The inner pages have come loose due to age, but the album is well preserved overall and in near extremely fine condition.
Footnote: Mr. William Leslie Chivers R.V.M joined The Royal Household after the Second World War having been a professional Chauffeur prior. He became Head Chaffeur to His Majesty King VI. on the retirement of the previous Head Chaffeur, and continued in that role for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth after the King’s death in 1952 until the late 1970’s.
