A Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, in silver, rim officially impressed K.59551 A.F.R. HUTSON. L . STO. H.M.S. HARROW., 36 mm, suspension bar, worn on original ribbon, light wear, extremely fine condition.
A 1911 George V Coronation Medal, in silver, full size, original ribbon, light wear and small scratches, very fine.
Footnote: The Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal awarded to K.59551 A.F.R. Hutson, Leading Stoker, HMS Harrow, recognized over fifteen years of exemplary service in the Royal Navy. The service number prefix “K” identifies him as a Stoker, part of the engine room branch responsible for operating and maintaining the ship’s boilers and engines. His rank of Leading Stoker indicates seniority within that branch, and the ship named, HMS Harrow, was a Royal Navy minesweeping sloop. This medal reflects a career of sustained dedication and discipline in one of the most physically demanding naval roles.
