For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Instituted 1907. In silver, rim officially impressed (denoting local units) PTE.H.R. PAXTON, DURBAN LIGHT INFANTRY with 1906 clasp, bright, a few scratches to the obverse, remains in extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The Natal Native Rebellion Medal is a British campaign medal, authorized in 1907, for service in Natal during a Zulu revolt against British rule and taxation in 1906. The 1906 Clasp to the medal was awarded to those who had served for more than fifty days.
The Durban Light Infantry was mobilized during the Natal Native Rebellion (Bambatha Rebellion) to help suppress Zulu resistance to colonial taxes and authority. As a locally raised volunteer unit, the regiment conducted patrols, skirmishes, and security operations around northern Natal, using its mobility and knowledge of the terrain to track insurgents. Members of the Durban Light Infantry were among the colonial forces awarded campaign medals for their role in restoring order during this brief but intense uprising.
