A lot of three socket bayonets, consisting of:
1. A pattern 1853 Enfield socket bayonet with scabbard, measuring 555 mm in total length, with a 432 mm long triangular magnetic steel blade demonstrating a factory-original finish, with an unsharpened tip and blade. The blade features a bent elbow that merges into a socket, with a french-style locking ring. It is marked “216” as well as on the base of the blade. It is accompanied by a matching replacement scabbard, constructed of a strip of black-tanned leather that is made into a triangular shape, with brass fittings at the tip and at the throat. The fittings at the throat are marked “NB” and “2671” in deep relief, demonstrating signs of age and wear in near very fine condition.
2. A pattern 1853 Enfield socket bayonet with scabbard, measuring 532 mm in total length, with a 433 mm long triangular magnetic steel blade demonstrating a factory-original finish, with an unsharpened tip and blade. The blade features a bent elbow that merges into a socket, with a french-style locking ring. It is unmarked with the exception for an unknown mark at the base of the blade. Accompanied by a matching replacement scabbard, constructed of a strip of black-tanned leather that is made into a triangular shape, with brass fittings at the tip and at the throat. Demonstrating signs of age and wear in near very fine condition.

The blade features a bent elbow that merges into a socket, with a french-style locking ring. It is unmarked with the exception for an unknown mark at the base of the blade. In overall fine condition.
