United Kingdom. A Gold Pocketwatch by William Bent, 1944

 In 18K Gold, a beautiful, functional pocketwatch presenting a white porcelain dial with roman numerals and delicate hands, the "6" position obscured by the inset second hand clock with a black secondhand, featuring the maker WILLIAM BENT LONDON E.C. 17150 on the face, covered by a glass crystal. The pendant is marked with gold hallmarks, surmounted by the textured crown and large bow. The Chronographer set at 1 o clock on the frame. The interior is engraved William Bent chronometer MAKER to the ADMIRALTY, LONDON E.C. NO. 17150, with delicate carvings around the speed dial, the exterior lid features gold hallmarks denoting London manufacture in 1944. The proper exterior is plain, the pocketwatch measures 51.5 mm (w) x 64.6 mm (h), weighs 111.64 grams, minor wear, only small cracks in the dial near the 5 o’clock edge, a lovely pocketwatch in extremely fine condition.
