A British War Medal, in silver, full size, rim impressed 11111 SJT. T. DEVINE. DURH. L.I., minor contact marks, nice toning, dark patina, very fine. 

A Victory Medal, in bronze gilt, full size, rim impressed 11111 SJT. T. DEVINE. DURH. L.I., spots of gilt wear, very fine.

An Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, George V, rim impressed 4435347 O.SJT. T. DEVINE. DURH. L. I., lovely silver toning, light contact, very fine.

Footnote: The Durham Light Infantry served with distinction during World War I, with battalions fighting on the Western Front, at Gallipoli, in Salonika, Egypt, and the Middle East. The regiment took part in many of the war’s major battles, including the Somme, Ypres, and Passchendaele, often enduring heavy casualties in difficult trench warfare conditions. Known for their discipline and resilience, the Durham Light Infantry earned a strong reputation for courage and service throughout the conflict.
