In bronze, obverse illustrating the bust of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists leader Stepan Bandera above the dates "1908-1959", reverse illustrating the Ukrainian trident, measuring 33.5 mm (w) x 39.2 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, exhibiting contact marks and surface wear, original ribbon wrapped around a bronze frame with pinback, near fine.
Footnote: Stepan Andriyovych Bandera (January 1, 1909 - October 15, 1959) was an Ukrainian nationalist leader, politician and theorist of the militant wing (OUN-B), served as head of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, organization responsible for massacres and ethnic cleansings, also implicated in collaboration with Nazi Germany.
