Two piece construction silver medal with red and blue enamels bearing the Ukrainian Trident in dark blue enameled centerpiece with Ukrainian “за мужність” (translation: For Courage), hallmarked on obverse and bearing “N5932”, measuring at 39.36mm (w) x 46.68mm (h-to top of ring suspension), weighing at 31.6 grams, original ribbon on a horizontal pinback, in original case of issue, in extremely fine condition.
Accompanied by an Order Book (ОРДЕНСЬКА КНИЖКА), measuring at 78.93mm (w) x 111.41mm (l) x 10.63mm (h) and a certificate (ПОСВIдЧЕННЯ) 79.511mm (w) x 109.68mm (h) inside the case of issue 109.83mm (w) x 157.89mm (l) x 40.55 mm(h).
Footnote: The Order was established in 1996 by President Leonid Kuchma, it is granted in recognition of personal courage in emergencies involving saving people, or valuable materials, in peril at the risk of the recipient's own life.
