In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
This is a well preserved and certainly unique personal photo album of Oberst Paul Conrath of the Regiment General Göring. The album is constructed of heavy cardstock with an off-white faux leather (leatherette) exterior, featuring 50 pages and 27 black and white photographs. The photographs depict Oberst Paul Conrath and his closest friends on an outing, socializing in a manner seldom captured by photographs of this period. Clearly visible is the “General Göring” cuff title of Oberst Paul Conrath, as well as his Iron Cross First Class, the clasp to the Iron Cross 1939 First Class, as well as his Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross with Oakleaves. The album measures 141 mm x 160 mm, and is in better than very fine condition, but with some photographs missing, and some light staining on the cover of the album.
Footnote: Paul Conarth (November 22, 1896 - January 15, 1979) was a German General in the Luftwaffe during the Second War. He served as the Oberst and Commander of the Flak Regiment “General Göring”, as well a Generalmajor and commander of the Fallschirm-Panzer-Division “Hermann Göring”. He was a recipient of the German Cross in Gold (May 18, 1944), and the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross (September 4, 1941), with the 276th Oakleaves (August 21, 1943).
