(Khrueang Ratcha-itsariyaphon An Mi Kiattiyot Ying Mongkut Thai). Instituted December 29th, 1869. An exceptional example of a Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand, I. Class Grand Cross set, consisting of:
1. A breast star, constructed of silver with gilded accents as well as red and blue enamels, the obverse consisting of a leaf with eight petals with a starburst pattern around the exterior of the badge, with a central Thai crown within dark blue and bright red enamels, the reverse plain, with a barrel hinge, vertical pinback, and round wire catch, the reverse of the pinback hallmarked with Thai lettering, measuring 81.1 mm (w) x 80.5 mm (l), weighing 69.08 grams.
2. A sash badge, constructed of silver with gilded accents as well as red and blue enamels, the obverse consisting of a leaf with eight petals with a starburst pattern around the exterior of the badge, with a central Thai crown within dark blue and bright red enamels, the reverse with a central blue enameled medallion bearing Thai lettering surrounded by red enamels, suspended from a swivel Thai Crown using its period original sash ribbon, unmarked, measuring 54.7 mm (w) x 88.5 mm (l), weighing 52.41 grams.
A fine Grand Cross Set of a Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand, with patina from age and wear, in overall better than very fine condition.
