Syria, Republic. Three Orders Of Bravery

Instituted in 1964. I Class: in bronze gilt with green and black enamels, measuring 60 mm (w) x 69 mm (h), bronze palm on its original ribbon with dual-prong pinback; II Class: in bronze gilt with green enamels, measuring 49.8 mm (w) x 57 mm (h), original ribbon; and III Class: in bronze gilt with green and black enamels, measuring 40.2 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), original ribbon with dual-prong pinback. Extremely fine.

Footnote: The Order of Bravery was instituted on July 20, 1964 and awarded for courage in action or more general services. It is awarded in three grades: I Class, II Class and III Class.
