Spain, Spanish State. An Order of St. Hermenegildo, Commander and Order of Military Merit, III Class, c. 1930

(Real y Militar Orden de San Hermengildo). Instituted November 28, 1814. In bronze, a maltese cross with rays in each quadrant, the obverse medallion featuring St. Hermenegildo on a blue field, encircled by a white ring inscribed PREMIO A LA CONSTANCIA MILITAR, with an exterior green wreath, the reverse features a vertical pin with dual stays, measures 64.1 mm (w) x 64.3mm (h), light wear, in very fine condition.

(Orden del Mérito Militar). Instituted August 6 1864. Type I, III Class Breast Star (White Distinction). In silver and enamels, featuring a white enamel cross with Spanish insignia in the central medallion, a bar and crown on the 12 o’clock arm, with alternating lions and castilles in each quadrant, the reverse features a vertical pin with dual stays, measures 61.9 mm (w) x 63.2 mm (h), enamels intact,, remains in very fine condition.
