Spain, Kingdom. An Order of Isabella the Catholic, Commander, c.1930

(Orden de Isabel la Católica). Instituted in 1815. In silver gilt, a Maltese cross with red enamels arms on both sides, with five emanating rays between each arm of the cross and incorporating ball finials on all eight points of the arms of the cross, obverse center piece insignia with handpainted symbology on enamels, reverse centerpiece with blue and white enamels and bearing the monogram of Queen Isabella, the base surmounted by a wreath in silver with green enamels, unmarked, measuring 57.5 mm (w) x 78.9 mm (h -inclusive of its wreath suspension), accompanied by its full length original neck ribbon (missing ties at the end), enamels intact, light gilt wear on edges and rays, remains in extremely fine condition.
