(Real Orden de Reconocimiento Civil a las Víctimas del Terrorismo). Instituted 1999. Carlos I’s issue. In bronze gilt, an enameled red four-armed cross composign of two parallel expanding rays in each arm, featuring roundish gilt rays in each quadrant, with obverse centre exhibiting an enameled Spanish coat of arms with above enameled typical of time period Spanish crown, plain reverse, surmounted by detailed laurel wreath and ornament loop suspension, measuring 59.76 mm (w) x 84.55 mm (h - inclusive of laurel wreath and integral ball), near to mint.

Footnote: The Royal Order for Recognition of the Victims of Terrorism was instituted in Spain by decree of October 8, 1999. It was established in honor of the victims of terrorism in Spain. It is conferred upon Spanish and foreign citizens who have suffered the consequences of the terrorism in Spain.
