1. Ethiopian War Medal, in bronze, obverse shows coat of arms of Somalia with the inscription, “Repubblica Somala”, reverse shows inscription of date “Gennaio Aprile 1964” in centre, on multi-striped ribbon, 33.7 mm, very fine condition.
2. Medal for the Somali-Ethiopian War, in bronze, obverse shows coat of arms of Somalia with the inscription, “Repubblica Somala”, reverse shows inscription of date “Gennaio Aprile 1964” in centre, on multi-striped ribbon, 33.7 mm very fine condition.
Footnote: The medal was instituted in 1964 and awarded to participants in the war with Ethiopia over the Ethiopian province of Ogaden, which Somalia was seeking to annex.
3. Somalia III Battalion Medal, obverse shows eagle, reverse shows multi-coloured checkered flag and the inscription “Come falco piombo”, not on striped ribbon, 32.3 mm, very fine condition.
4. Somali Italian Administration IV Battalion Medal, obverse shows elephant, reverse shows coat of arms of Italian Somaliland with the motto “Hog sidi morodi”, not on green ribbon, 34.6 mm, evidence of small green mark on obverse, very fine condition.
