A pair of detailed Eastern Front commemorative trench art brass shells, including one featuring a dimpled exterior, overlaid by raised leaves and fruit, above a small Slovak Cross with a banner bearing an inscription of “1941 - ŽITOMIR” (“1941 - ZHYTOMYR”), the base bearing calibre markings, measuring 70 mm (w) x 262 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a Slovak Expeditionary Army Group shell, featuring a dimpled exterior, bearing a wreathed Slovak Cross topped by a regimental dedication, the base bearing calibre marks, measuring 66 mm (w) x 250 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
