In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
A very well-preserved Slovak Fire Brigade personnel steel helmet, constructed of a black-painted magnetic metal shell. A raised, polished magnetic metal comb is secured lengthwise to the crown with dual rivets. Three magnetic metal rivets are located along each side of the helmet, securing in place the interior features. Painted onto the peak is a fully-intact Slovakian coat of arms, measuring 45 mm (w) x 74 mm (h). The rim of the helmet is fully crimped, providing a smooth edge. A tan-coloured leather band fully encompasses the circumference of the interior, secured in place with the aforementioned rivets. Three suede and canvas fingers emanate from the band, each perforated at the top with two holes reinforced with magnetic metal grommets. A period original drawstring is securely looped through the fingers. An additional two-piece brown leather chinstrap is affixed directly to the sides of the shell with magnetic metal loops, and is adjusted with a functional magnetic metal buckle. The helmet is fully unmarked and measures 240 mm (w) x 270 mm (l) 150 mm (h). Issues consistent with age and use are evident, and include some oxidation of the metal features, as well as material fatigue of the leather and suede interior fixtures. The helmet is in an overall better than very fine condition.
