In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
A unique Slovak Army General’s display piece, consisting of three pieces harvested from the cap affixed to a framed red felt backer. It features a cut-out of the peak and surrounding areas of the crown and cap band. Constructed of black whipcord wool, it features two hand-embroidered gold bullion wire insignia. One consists of a Slovak national eagle overlaid by a multi-coloured coat of arms. Underneath the eagle, a second insignia consists of an Army emblem in the form of crossed swords within a circular linden leaf wreath. Pinned onto the board beneath the peak extract is a chinstrap consisting of multiple rows of twisted and rolled gold bullion wire, with each end completing in an original gilded bronze button. Also included is a black vulcanfibre visor, with intact stitching eyelets demonstrating careful removal from the original structure. The cap components are presented in a frame measuring 430 mm (w) x 355 mm (h) and with an intact glass face. Age-appropriate oxidation is evident to the gold bullion wire features, with some mothing evident to the wool and wear of the frame. This unique presentation set is in an overall near extremely fine condition.
