An Officer, presenting a silver gilt seven-point white enamelled star with sheaves of wheat in each quadrant, the obverse medallion featuring a white and green enamelled disc with Arabic inscription which translates to "Abdul-Aziz al-Saud", surrounded by a white and green enamelled starburst, reverse is plain, suspended from a crescent moon with crossed swords and wheat, measures 40mm (w) x 66.1mm (h – inclusive of suspension), weighs 30.6 grams (including ribbon), worn on original ribbon with large rosette, enamels intact, very minor wear, a rare decoration in extremely fine condition.
Accompanied by a ribbon bar with small rosette, and a buttonhole rosette.
Contained in an original felt green case of issue, the exterior presents a mark of a crescent moon with crossed swords, the interior features a crème coloured velvet medalbed and white silk interior, measures 75mm (w) x 48mm (h) x 35mm (d), light wear, in very fine condition.
