An Order of the Red Star, constructed of silver with enamels, consisting of a five-pointed star, the obverse with red enameled arms, bearing a central medallion overlaid by a Red Army soldier in full uniform and clutching a rifle, surrounded by a border bearing a raised Russian Cyrillic inscription of “ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН, СОЕДИНЯЙТЕСЬ!” (“WORKERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!”), joined together at the bottom by initials “СССР” (“USSR”), situated above a hammer and sickle the reverse with a central threaded screwpost retaining an original backplate, etched with an issue number that appears to read “3461545”, maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 48.18 mm (w) x 46.19 mm (h), weighing 42.5 grams (inclusive of backplate), in extremely fine condition.

An Order of the Patriotic War, Type III, II Class, constructed of silver with enamels, the obverse consisting of a five-pointed star with red enameled arms, with stylized rays emanating through the background, with a crossed sabre and Mosin-Nagant rifle piercing the centrepiece, bearing a central raised sickle and hammer, situated within a white enameled ring bearing an inscription of “ОТЕЧЕСТВЕННАЯ ВОЙНА” (“PATRIOTIC WAR”), the reverse with a central threaded screw post retaining an original backplate, maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, and engraved with an award number of “3818725”, measuring 43.78 mm (w) x 45.94 mm (h), weighing 40.8 grams (inclusive of backplate), in extremely fine condition.
