A long format Khanjali featuring a dark hardwood handle riveted to a steel tang, presenting ornate silver fittings, each hand etched with contrasting patination, handle measures 13cm in length and is Russian silver hallmarked and maker marked; with a 38 cm double sided blade with etched detailing at the ricasso, exhibiting numerous edge knicks and rust points; protected within a matching scabbard with a base of wood wrapped in replacement leather as well as its matching original silver fittings, both presenting equally fine hand detailing and dark contrasting patination, overall length of 57.5 cm, an excellent and visually appealing example, fine.
