A German made Air Force Dagger, featuring a magnetic, double edged, nickel-plated steel blade with decorative etchings on each side, one bearing the Romanian crest, with F.H HOLLER SOLINGEN maker mark on the ricasso, the blade measures 153 mm in length, with a sharp tip. The brass crossguard handle features the inscription NIHILSINEDEO, and the other side bears the coat of arms, the handle is partially set with a creme coloured bakelite with the spine showing a bust and cypher of Carol II, with an eagle head topped by a crown. The entire dagger measures 250 mm (l) x 70 mm ( w - crossguard), light wear, bakelite section is slightly loose and moveable, and remains extremely fine.
The scabbard is of magnetic nickel-plated steel, singular hook for a frog connection, small reinforced tip, measures 195 mm (l) x 24 mm (w), light areas of rust, a smooth fit of the dagger, in very fine condition.
