Includes: 1. Military Distinguished Service Medal, II Class Silver Grade, Type III (post 1970 issue) (Medalha de Serviços Distintos Militares). Instituted in 1863. In silver, engraver marked "SALRETA" on both sides, measuring 38.7 mm (w) x 69 mm (h) inclusive of its trophy of arms suspension, light contact, clasp affixed via dual prongs to its original ribbon. 2. Police Medal for Public Security, II Class Silver Grade (Medalha Seguranca Publica). Instituted in 1926. In silvered bronze, unmarked, measuring 32.8 mm (w) x 37.8 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, scattered contact marks in the silvering that exposes the bronze base on both sides, traditional horizontal-framed clasp bearing a five-pointed star in silvered bronze affixed to its original ribbon. Together, near extremely fine.
