Description

(Ordelijke Medaille van de Vierdaagse). Instituted in 1965. In bronze gilt, measuring 38.3 mm (w) x 43 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, original ribbon suspended from a hanger inscribed "VIERDAAGSE HIJMEGEN", contact marks, better than very fine.

Footnote: The Orderly Medal of the Four Day Marches was awarded by the Royal Dutch League for Physical Education (KNBLO = Koninklijke Nederlandsche Bond Voor Lichamelijke Opvoeding) between 1965 and 2016, to those who gave support to walkers participating in the International Four Days Marches (Vierdaagse) held annually at Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
