1. Order of the Oak Crown, Silver Grade Medal (Ordre de la Couronne de Chêne). Instituted in 1841 (in silver, measuring 30 mm (w) x 34.8 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, contact marks, original ribbon).
2. Order of Merit of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, V Class Knight (Ordre de Mérite du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg). Instituted in 1961 (multi-piece construction, in silver with red, light blue and black enamels, measuring 40.7 mm (w) x 45.7 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, fine chipping evident in the light blue enamels on the obverse centrepiece ring, otherwise the enamels are intact, original ribbon).
Together, better than very fine.
Footnote: 1. Order of the Oak Crown was instituted on December 29, 1841 by King William II of the Netherlands, Grand Duke of Luxembourg. It is awarded for civil and military services and for artistic achievement, in five grades: Grand Cross (I Class Knight), Grand Officer (II Class Knight), Commander (III Class Knight), Officer and Knight (IV Class), along with Medals in Gold Grade, Silver Grade and Bronze Grade.
2. The Order of Merit of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg was instituted on January 23, 1961 by Grand Duchess Charlotte. It is awarded for outstanding professional achievement and for services performed in specific fields, in five grades: Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Knight, along with Medals in Gold Grade, Silver Grade and Bronze Grade.
