Description

(Jewellery, Brooches). Art Deco. Ladies. Crafted in platinum. The uniquely shaped brooch features four old European cut diamonds, measuring approximately 4.5-4.3mm, and two hundred and thirty four old European, old Single and old rose cut diamonds, measuring approximately 3.6mm to 1.3mm., weighing approximately 15.0cts. total, by gauge of SI-1 to I-1 clarity, G-H-I colour range. The reverse bears a horizontal pin with a trombone or push-pull catch. It also bears four prongs, two on the left and two on the right, on hinges to separate the brooch into two pieces, both of which are wearable. Measuring 84.23mm (l) x 37.27mm (w) and weighing 33.4 grams. A showstopping brooch in extremely fine condition.
