A Cased Order of the Rising Sun, VI. Class Breast Badge. Instituted October 4th, 1875. Constructed of silver and multi-coloured enamels, consisting of eleven purple enameled Paulownia flowers with three large green enameled leaves at the base, the obverse and reverse sides identical in appearance, on a horizontally pierced ball and swivel ring for suspension from its period original ribbon featuring a hook but missing the loop (ripped away), measuring 31.1 mm (w) x 33.9 mm (l), weighing 21.46 grams, in extremely fine condition. Accompanied by its presentation case, constructed of a lightweight wooden core with a glossy black bakelite exterior, the exterior of the lid embossed with the name and class of the award in Japanese characters, with a functional exterior hinge, no interior fabric hinge cover, and functional exterior metal clasp, measuring 62 mm (w) x 95 mm (l), in extremely fine condition.
An Order of the Sacred Treasure, VI. Class Breast Badge. Instituted January 4th, 1888. Constructed of silver with white and blue enamels, along with sixteen red glass cabochons (but missing one),on a horizontally pierced ball and swivel ring for suspension from its shortened period original ribbon (with clear sticky tape on the reverse from previous collector mounting), measuring 43.0 mm (w) x 49.0 mm (l), weighing 22.27 grams, in near very fine condition.
A Cased Order of the Golden Kite, VII. Class Breast Badge. Instituted February 12th, 1890. Constructed of silver, the obverse depicting a gilt Kite above crossed ancient shields with two crossed spears and banners, on a horizontally pierced ball and swivel ring for suspension from its period original ribbon featuring a hook and loop on the reverse for secure attachment to a uniform, unmarked, measuring 42.6 mm (w) x 57.1 mm (l), weighing 33.13 grams, in extremely fine condition.Accompanied by its presentation case, constructed of a lightweight wooden core with a glossy black bakelite exterior, the exterior of the lid embossed with the name and class of the award in Japanese characters, with a functional exterior hinge, intact interior fabric hinge cover, and functional exterior metal clasp, measuring 60 mm (w) x 88 mm (l), in better than very fine condition.
A 2600th National Anniversary Commemorative Medal 1940, in bronze, measures 30.5 in diameter, worn on original ribbon with notable staining, light wear, remains very fine.
Two Imperial Military Reserve Association Membership Badges, in nickel and brass, reverse with a single vertical pin, measures 18 mm (w) x 27 mm (h), one very fine, one fair.
