Japan, Empire. A Lot of Medals, Awards & Badges

1. A 1904-1905 War Medal, Instituted March 31st, 1906. A circular bronze medal, on a single toe claw and medal bar for suspension, measuring 30.3 mm; in case of issue, black lacquer over wood;

2. Medal of Honour. Instituted December 7 1881. In silver, a round medal bearing Japanese kanji encircled by a wreath on the obverse, reverse blank, worn on a decorative suspension with clasp indicating the date of conferral, a light blue ribbon with hook and eye on reverse,  measures 30 mm, contained in its case of issue, a black lacquer case with dark red silk and velvet interior;

3. Taisho Enthronement Commemorative Medal, In silver, 30 mm (d), original ribbon with hook and eye, in wooden case of issue; 

4. Imperial Time Expired Soldiers League Rosette (Teikoku Zaiko Gunjin Kai), two-piece construction, silver star mounted to a silver gilt base, measuring 14.5 mm (w) x 23.2 mm (h), mounted to a 37 mm in diameter rosette, in wooden case;

5. Patriotic Women's Association Member Badge (Aikoku Fujinkai), iin silver, measuring 21.5 mm (w) x 21.5 mm (h), suspended from hanger with pinback, in case of issue, very fine as a lot.
