Description

(Ordine dei Santi Maurizio e Lazzaro). Instituted in 1434. A Commander neck badge, consisting of 18K Gold, in the form of a white enamelled shamrock cross with the green rays of a Maltese cross in each quadrant, the reverse mirrors the obverse, surmounted by a large hollow Gold crown, worn on a full length green neck ribbon with two buttons for closure at the end, measures 53.31 mm (w) x 85.22 mm (h), weighs 31.0 grams (including ribbon), Gold marked on the loop and integral arm between the decoration and the crown, enamel chips on white shamrock, ribbon missing tie at one end, remains in extremely fine condition.
