An unusual miniature medal chain consisting of four international awards, including two French (with Diamonds), one Tunisian, and one Spanish award, consisting of:
1. A French National Order of the Legion of Honour (Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur). Instituted on May 19th, 1802. VII model. Constructed of finely detailed silver, Gold, and multi-coloured enamels, featuring eight antique cut diamonds (three on the suspension, five on the Maltese Cross), measuring 14.1 mm (w) x 26.9 mm (l).
2. A French Order of Academic Palms (Ordre des Palmes Academiques). Instituted March 17th, 1808. II. Model, Type III. (1866 - 1955). Constructed of silver, with purple enamels, featuring three antique cut diamonds (on the suspension), measuring 11.1 mm (w) x 16.9 mm (l).
3. A Tunisian Order of Glory (Atiq Nishan-i-Iftikhar). Instituted in 1835. Type V (Muhammad an-Nasir). Constructed of silver and multi-coloured enamels of fine craftsmanship, measuring 12.8 mm (w) x 20.2 mm (l).
4. A Spanish Order of Carlos III (Real Orden de Carlos III). Instituted October 19th, 1771. Model V. Constructed of Gold and exquisitely crafted blue and white enamels, measuring 10.9 mm (w) x 19.8 mm (l).
All four of these prestigious and delicately made awards are suspended from a petite chain with a needle pin in Gold on either side, measuring approximately 72 mm long, extremely well preserved with only minor chips to the enamels of the Order of Academic Palms, in near extremely fine condition.
