(Medaillen). A mixed lot of medals, including:
1. A Prussian General Honour Medal, II Class, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “VERDIENST UM DEN STAAT” (“SERVICE TO THE STATE”), the reverse bearing a raised monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm III, unmarked, measuring 39.31 mm in diameter, weighing 22.7 grams, demonstrating some edge nicks, in near extremely fine condition.
2. An 1885 Imperial Maneuvers commemorative medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 28.21 mm in diameter, weighing 8.6 grams, in very fine condition.
3. A Kaiser Friedrich and Kaiser Wilhelm II commemorative medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 27.30 mm in diameter, weighing 9.8 grams, in better than very fine condition.
4. A regimental centenary medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 29.76 mm in diameter, weighing 8.4 grams, demonstrating loss of finish throughout in addition to some edge nicks, in very fine condition.
5. A Kyffhäuser Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, the obverse engraver marked “HOSAEUS”, measuring 30.74 mm (w) x 47.14 mm (h), weighing 18.3 grams, missing its suspension loop, in very fine condition.
6. An unissued marksmanship medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 38.60 mm in diameter, weighing 24.3 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
7. A Bavarian Golden Wedding Anniversary Medal, constructed of magnetic iron, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 38.02 mm in diameter, weighing 20.8 grams, demonstrating minor surface oxidation, in very fine condition.
8. A First World War St. Barbara medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension, the obverse bearing an unidentified maker’s mark, measuring 35.00 mm in diameter, weighing 18.2 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
9. An Austrian War Medal of 1873, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 36.17 mm in diameter, weighing 24.6 grams, in extremely fine condition.
10. An Austrian War Commemorative Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original parade-mounted ribbon, unmarked, measuring 36.09 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
