Footnote: The Oman General Service Medal was instituted by Sultan Said bin Taimur in 1959 and was rewarded for general military service.

Footnote: The medal was instituted by Sultan Said bin Taimur in 1967 and was awarded for distinguished service or devotion to duty over a long period, and for conspicuous acts of gallantry at risk of life, but not in the face of the enemy.
3. Russia, Soviet Union. A “Forty Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-45” Jubilee Medal. Gold medallion, obverse bearing the relief outline of a large five pointed star with a soldier holding a machine gun, a female worker, and a collective farmer, reverse inscription 0 лет Победы в Великой Отечественной войне 1941—1945 гг., on original pentagonal mount ribbon, 32.2 mm, evidence of slight gilt wear on outer ring circumference of the medal, extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The Jubilee Medal was a state commemorative medal of the Soviet Union instituted on April 12, 1985, by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR to denote the fortieth anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in World War II.

4. Malaysia, Federation. An Active Service Medal. Gold medallion mounted by crossed feathers, obverse centerpiece shows Malaysian coat of arms, 53.1 mm, on original striped ribbon, extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The medal was instituted on 17 July 1960 by Tuanku Hisamuddin Alam Shah as a reward for long service and good conduct.
5.Cuba, Socialist Republic. A Victory Medal. Gold medallion, obverse bearing the Cuban coat of arms surrounded by the inscription REPUBLICA DE CUBA CONSEJO DE ESTADO, reverse bearing inscription POR LA VICTORIA CUBA RPA, on original pentagonal mount, 32.2 mm, including brooch, extremely fine condition.
Footnote: It was instituted on 20 March 1989 and awarded to members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) for service in Angola in support of their revolution.
6. Japan, Empire. The 1937-45 China Incident War Medal. In bronze, on original striped ribbon, obverse bearing the mythical giant crow 'yata-no-karasu', Japanese Army and Navy flags and a chrysanthemum crest, reverse bearing an image of mountains and Japanese inscription, suspender inscription translates to WAR MEDAL, inclusive of bar suspension 53.9 mm (h) x 30 mm (w), extremely fine condition. Housed in the original box, some wear on exterior, very fine condition.
Footnote: The medal was instituted on July 27, 1939 and awarded for service in China at any time from the 12th through the 20th years of the Shōwa period (1937–1945).
7. United Arab Emirates. A Medal of the 15th Anniversary of the Foundation of the United Arab Emirates. Five-point bronze medal with ball-tipped star-points features another 10-point star, obverse centerpiece bearing the coat of arms of the federation, reverse side of the star medallion features the number fifteen in Arabic (representing 15 years since the unification of the UAE) encircled by seven hands holding each other – one for each of the seven emirates.
8. Saudi Arabia, Kingdom. A Kuwait Liberation Medal. Silver star of fifteen rounded points with shorter rounded points between them, surmounted by a gilt medallion bearing a wreath with a crown at its top, the center of the medallion featuring a gilt Kingdom of Saudi Arabia mounted on a silver Earth, above center are crossed swords and a palm tree, below center is a scroll with the inscription LIBERATION OF KUWAIT in English and the same inscription in Arabic, on original ribbon, 51 mm (h) x 46.1 mm (w), near mint condition. Housed in original case, extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The medal was instituted in 1991 by King Fahd ibn Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia for service during the Liberation of Kuwait campaign.

Bronze medallion, obverse centerpiece bearing the coat of arms of the State of Kuwait, reverse bearing the map of Kuwait, suspended from a bar by a laurel wreath, on original ribbon, including brooch, inclusive of bar suspension 57.8 mm (h) x 40.5 mm (w), extremely fine condition. Housed in original case, extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The medal was instituted in 1994 by the government of Kuwait to both local and foreign military personnel who served in the Persian Gulf War's "Liberation of Kuwait" campaign phase of 1990 and 31 August 1993.
10. A Yugoslavian Officer Cap Badge By Auro Metal. Five-pointed red enameled star on silver base, reverse screw back with inscription AURO METAL SUBOTICA, 41mm, extremely fine condition.
11. A USSR Order of the Red Star. Five pointed red enameled star with reverse screw back, obverse centerpiece bearing the image of a soldier wearing an overcoat and carrying a rifle, along the centerpiece circumference is the Communist motto, Пролетарии всех стран, соединяйтесь! and along the bottom CCCP, the reverse is engraved 858509, measures 48.35 mm (h) x 49.6 mm (w), with screwback plate, extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The Order of the Red Star was instituted on 6 April 1930 and given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union in both war and peace.
12. Albania, Republic. An Order of Skanderbeg, III Class. Obverse medallion shows Skanderbeg on a five-pointed silver star, reverse screw back with inscription IKOM ZAGREB, reverse numbered 558, 48.4 mm, extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The Order of Skanderbeg was originally instituted on 3 December 1925 as an order of merit of the Albanian Republic. It was replaced by the Communist government in 1945 with a new award of the same name. Skanderbeg is the national hero of the Albanian people.
