Hungary, Kingdom. An Arrow Cross Party Membership Card, with Pin, to Janesé István

An Arrow Cross Party membership booklet, constructed of card stock, the cover bearing a movement stamp for the year 1942, opening to reveal an original certified bearer photos, featuring handwritten and stamped inscriptions indicating that the card was issued to “JANESÉ ISTVÁN”, a house painter who was born in 1912 in Vajdahunyad (mis-spelled as Vajdahunyod, now Hunedoara, Transylvania, Romania), who joined the party in 1939, featuring stamps for membership dues, measuring 8 cm (w) x 10.5 cm (h), demonstrating moderate material fatigue, in very fine condition; accompanied by a membership pin, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a central white enameled disc overlaid by an Arrow Cross Party insignia in 1944 (Hungarist Movement) format, situated within a red enameled ring bearing a silvered inscription of “CSÁK AZERT IS KITARTÁS” (“PERSISTENCE IS JUST”), unmarked, measuring 18 mm diameter, demonstrating crude repair and replacement of the pin, in very fine condition.
