In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
This is an extremely rare and untouched tunic, composed of a thick cotton, tightly woven with a burlap insulation layer within the interior. The material is solid, with no moth holes. The shoulders are padded with enclosed pads of burlap. It maintains its original 5 wood colour buttons. Although unmarked, the jacket size is approximately a 32, measuring 47 cm across the shoulders, 60 cm down the sleeve, and 80 cm along the back from collar to tail. The Paratrooper badge is cotton and gold bullion, hand sewn as visible from the interior of the tunic. Ribbon bars are complete, original, and again hand sewn onto the tunic - denoting Bravery Medals (one crossed swords and Order of Merit device; one with crossed swords; one with Bravery medal III Class device); and below, a three piece ribbon bar featuring a Commemorative Medal for the Liberation of Upper Hungary 1938; Commemorative Medal for the Liberation of Transylvania 1940; A Commemorative Medal for the Liberation of South Hungary 1941. This is also the case for both the green felt collar tabs with bullion stars, and well made corded shoulder boards; held in place by gilt crowned buttons. The rarity and quality of this tunic must be considered extremely high and overall condition is extremely fine.
