(Hadirokkantak, Hadiözvegyek és Hadiárvák Országos Nemzeti Szövetség = HONSz). In bronze gilt with red, white, green, blue and black enamels, illustrating a Hungarian shield with an angular banner inscribed "1914-1918", the shield surmounted by an eagle standing upon a sword, inscribed "1914-18" above the eagle, the shield flanked by ornate columns on either side, a half wreath below the shield composed of branches of oak leaves and laurel leaves above a ribbon banner inscribed "HONSZ", reverse marked "TERV. CSÁK B." and "SZENTIRMAI", measuring 35 mm (w) x 50.8 mm (h), intact slider, chipping evident in the green enamels on the wreath, gilt wear on the reverse, better than very fine.
Footnote: The National Association for War Disabled, War Widows and War Orphans (HONSz) was founded after the First World War, and it existed throughout the 1930’s and during the Second World War.
