An Eastern Front Medal, constructed of silvered and patinated zink, on loop for suspension from its period original parade-mounted ribbon with horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/42” (“WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42”), topped by a Stahlhelm and stick grenade, unmarked, measuring 35.65 mm (w) x 43.68 mm (h), weighing 32.1 grams (inclusive of mounting and ribbon), with minor loss of finish evident, in near extremely fine condition; accompanied by a period replacement medal, of identical composition and construction, similarly parade-mounted with an original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 35.80 mm (w) x 44.36 mm (h), with most of the silver finish lost, in overall very fine condition.

An award document for an Eastern Front Medal, constructed of off-white paper with black ink, named to “UNTEROFFIZIER GUSTAV WAGENMANN”, awarded on 25 July 1942, measuring 139 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), with folding creases and material fatigue evident, in overall very fine condition; also accompanied by a lot of seven commemorative postcards, including one depicting a full-colour Heer infantry standard, the reverse unused, measuring 105 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one featuring a full-colour 1939 Iron Cross dedication, the reverse unused, measuring 105 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting a colour illustration of Heer soldiers, the reverse unused, measuring 105 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting a colour illustration of Heer infantry marching, the reverse with a handwritten inscription, measuring 147 mm (w) x 104 mm (h), in better than very fine condition; one depicting a colour illustration Heer soldier carrying a wounded comrade, the reverse unused, measuring 110 mm (w) x 150 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting a sketch of Heer infantry personnel carrying a stretcher, the reverse unused, measuring 148 mm (w) x 105 mm (h), and; one depicting a sketch of Heer infantry, the reverse unused, measuring 105 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
