Germany, Wehrmacht. A Small Reichskriegsflagge, 1938-45 Pattern

(Reichskriegsflagge). An extremely well-preserved Reichskriegsflagge, constructed of a red-dyed cotton twill base, bearing double-sided black and white Nordic Crosses, overlaid by central white discs bearing black mobile swastikas, the upper hoist edge of each side bearing a black Cross Pattée, the hoist edge reinforced with a layer of white cotton twill featuring a hollow channel which retains an original rope, the latter looped at both ends for suspension, reinforced along the opposite edge with machine stitching, unmarked, measuring 85 cm (w) x 50 cm (h), demonstrating minor soiling, a 1938-45 pattern flag in extremely fine condition.
