A matching set set of Wehrmacht rifle grenade pouches, each constructed of slate-grey linen twill, both topped by a flap riveted on the obverse with a magnetic metal fixture from which a canvas strap emanates and meets a functional magnetic metal buckle for secure closure, with each flap similarly joined together by a canvas strap fixed in place with a magnetic metal clasp, the interior of each flap featuring three individual cells for the insertion of rounds, one flap stamped on the interior with a Waffenamt mark and illegible maker’s code, each measuring 26 cm (w) x 41 cm (h), demonstrating only minor soiling and fatigue consistent with field use, a rare set in extremely fine condition.
