1. A War Merit Cross I Class with Swords, constructed of silvered zink, consisting of a Maltese Cross with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse with pebbled arms and a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with an integral hinge and banjo-style pinback with a fluted reverse meeting an integral catch, the reverse of the pinback maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “62” for Kerbach & Oesterhelt, Dresden, measuring 48.78 mm (w) x 48.82 mm (h), weighing 20.3 grams, demonstrating total replacement of silver finish, in very fine condition.

2. An Infantry Assault Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Fritz Zimmermann, Stuttgart, measuring 48.85 mm (w) x 63.21 mm (h), weighing 28.8 grams, demonstrating total replacement of silver finish, in very fine condition.
