Germany, Wehrmacht. A Pair of Marsh Pattern Camouflage Gloves

(Wehrmacht Paar Handschuhe im Sumpftarnmuster). An extremely well-preserved pair of Wehrmacht (Heer and Luftwaffe Field Divisions) camouflage gloves, each constructed of multiple panels of cotton/rayon blended cloth. The exterior of each cloth is dyed in a classic Sumpftarnmuster (marsh/swamp pattern) camouflage, with a mottle consisting of a primarily olive-drab base overlaid by irregular splotches of brown and dark green with blurred edges, interspersed with dark green splinters. Each glove features individual fingers and an additional thumbpiece. Both are stamped on the interior liner with a size mark of “3”, indicating a matching set, and are otherwise unmarked. Each glove measures approximately 18 cm (w) x 37 cm (l) when folded on a flat surface. Demonstrating no notable damage or wear, they remain in an extremely fine condition.
