(Wehrmacht Insignien). A mixed lot of Wehrmacht uniform insignia, including:
1. A Heer NCO’s breast eagle, constructed of dark green wool rayon with a wool underlay of identical colour, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 110 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
2. A Heer Gebirgsjäger EM/NCO’s sleeve insignia, constructed of field-grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered multi-coloured edelweiss situated within a knotted border topped by a piton, unmarked, measuring 55 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
3. A Heer Obergefreiter rank insignia, constructed of dark green wool, the obverse bearing two silver aluminum wire chevrons, unmarked, measuring 85 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), demonstrating minor material fatigue, in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.
4. A Heer Oberschütze rank insignia, constructed of olive-drab cotton, the obverse bearing a central machine-embroidered silver-grey pip, unmarked, measuring 55 mm in diameter, in unissued and near mint condition.
5. A Heer Motor Transport Specialist NCO’s sleeve badge, constructed of dark green wool will, the obverse trimmed with silver aluminum wire piping and bearing a central machine-embroidered golden-yellow insignia, unmarked, measuring 60 mm in diameter, demonstrating minor material fatigue, in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.
6. A Heer EM/NCO’s M44 cap insignia, constructed of a grey cotton base, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered tri-colour cockade topped by a silver-grey Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 65 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
7. A 1st Fallschirm-Panzer Division Hermann Göring EM/NCO’s cap/breast eagle, constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 76 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
8. A Kriegsmarine EM/NCO’s breast eagle, constructed of dark blue rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered golden-yellow Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 114 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), demonstrating minor soiling, in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.
