Germany, Wehrmacht. A Mixed Lot of Rank Insignia

(Wehrmacht Insignien). A mixed lot of Wehrmacht rank insignia, including:

1. A matching set of Heer Engineers/Construction Troops Leutnant shoulder boards, each constructed of black wool with rigid card stock cores and topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping, both unmarked and measuring 35 mm (w) x 120 mm (l), in extremely fine condition.

2. A single Luftwaffe Medical Hauptmann collar tab, constructed of dark navy blue wool with a buckram core, trimmed with twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire piping, and bearing three silver aluminum wire gulls above an oak leaf wreath of identical construction, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 60 mm (l), demonstrating significant oxidation to the wire, in uniform-removed and fair condition.

3. A Luftwaffe Gefreiter sleeve insignia, constructed of dark blue-grey wool, the obverse bearing a silver aluminum wire chevron, unmarked, measuring 80 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

4. A wire tresse overlaid by an Honour Chevron for Old Fighters, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.

5. Two pips, constructed of gilded feinzink, unmarked, in extremely fine condition.
