Germany, Wehrmacht. A Mixed Lot of Rank Insignia for Officers and NCOs

(Wehrmacht Insignien). A mixed lot of Wehrmacht rank insignia, including

1. A matching set of Heer Transport/Supply Troops Leutnant shoulder boards, each constructed of light blue wool with rigid card stock cores and topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping, the reverse of each with an integral strap perforated with a reinforced buttonhole and connecting to a period original pebbled buttons, both unmarked and measuring 32 mm (w) x 110 mm (l), in uniform-removed and extremely fine condition.

2. A Luftwaffe Gefreiter sleeve insignia, constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a silver aluminum wire tresse, unmarked, measuring 85 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.

3. A Luftwaffe Obergefreiter sleeve insignia, constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing two silver aluminum wire chevrons bisected by a dark grey threaded tresse, unmarked, measuring 85 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

4. A 60 mm length of twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire piping, for use on uniform accessories, in extremely fine condition.
