(Wehrmacht Insignien). A mixed lot of insignia, including:
1. A Heer Marksmanship Lanyard, Grade 1, constructed of a twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire cord completing in edge end in a loop for uniform button attachment, one end featuring an integral oval disc retaining an aluminum insignia in the form of a pebbled shield bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 43 cm in total length, in extremely fine condition.
2. A Heer Gebirgsjäger EM/NCO’s sleeve insignia, constructed of field-grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered multi-coloured edelweiss, situated within a knotted border topped by a piton, unmarked, measuring 55 mm (w) x 68 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
3. A Heer Artificer sleeve badge, constructed of dark green wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered golden-yellow insignia, unmarked, measuring 50 mm in diameter, demonstrating moderate material fatigue, in uniform-removed and very fine condition.
4. A Heer Signals sleeve badge, constructed of dark green wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey insignia, unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), demonstrating minor material fatigue, in uniform-removed and very fine condition.
5. A Heer Oberschütze rank badge, constructed of dark green wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey pip, unmarked, measuring 55 mm in diameter, demonstrating mothing throughout, in uniform-removed and fair condition.
6. A pair of Imperial shoulder straps, each constructed of dark green wool with dark blue wool underlays and topped by an embroidered cypher, both unmarked and measuring 68 mm (w) x 140 mm (l), in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.
