A War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR KRIEGSVERDIENST 1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), unmarked, measuring 32.23 mm in diameter, weighing 13.1 grams, in near mint condition.
2. A War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 48.00 mm (w) x 48.66 mm (h), weighing 21.1 grams, in extremely fine condition.
3. An Eastern Front Medal, constructed of silvered zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/42” (“WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42”), topped by a Stahlhelm and stick grenade, unmarked, measuring 35.83 mm (w) x 44.38 mm (h), weighing 19.8 grams, demonstrating near-total loss of finish, in very fine condition.
4. An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 for Combatants, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing central wreathed dates “1914-1918”, unmarked, measuring 38.12 mm (w) x 43.18 mm (h), weighing 15.7 grams, in extremely fine condition.
5. An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 for Non-Combatants, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing central wreathed dates “1914-1918”, maker marked with the logo of an unidentified manufacturer, measuring 37.26 mm (w) x 41.68 mm (h), weighing 11.5 grams, in extremely fine condition.
6. An unusual 1939 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of a blackened and silvered zink alloy, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened core within a ribbed and silvered frame, the obverse with a central mobile swastika, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1939”, the reverse six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, unmarked, measuring 42.92 mm (w) x 47.41 mm (h), weighing 29.2 grams, demonstrating some loss of finish throughout, in interesting example in very fine condition.
