1 A War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “FÜR KRIEGSVERDIENST 1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), unmarked, measuring 32.23 mm in diameter, weighing 12.7 grams, in near mint condition.
2. A War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and with crossed swords piecing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “65” for Klein & Quenzer, Idar-Oberstein, measuring 46.98 mm (w) x 47.86 mm (h), weighing 18.5 grams, in extremely fine condition.
3. An Italian-German African Campaign Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised depiction of two gladiators (symbolizing Italy and Germany) grappling with a crocodile (symbolizing Great Britain), the reverse bearing a central raised depiction of the Arco dei Fileni, flanked by a fasces and swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “ITALIAN-GERMAN CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA” in both Italian and German, the obverse maker marked “LORIOLI, MILANO”, measuring 30.87 mm in diameter, weighing 12.6 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
4. A Finnish Winter War Medal, constructed of blackened magnetic iron, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with “KAINUU” clasp, unmarked, measuring 31.47 mm in diameter, weighing 17.7 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
