In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
(Wehrmacht Ringkragen für Feldgendarmerie). Constructed of silver-grey painted magnetic iron sheet metal, the obverse bearing a central raised Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, situated above a patinated and pebbled banner bearing a raised inscription of “FELDGENDARMERIE”, with the upper corners fastened with pebbled buttons, notably with all of these features retaining original intact luminous paint, the reverse retaining an intact field-grey wool liner, with two stabilizing clips and an addition loop featuring an original full-length magnetic neck chain, the central stabilizing clip maker marked with the logo of F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, measuring 17 cm (w) x 11 cm (h), with a period paper label pasted to the reverse liner bearing the illegible remnants of a handwritten inscription, measuring 16 cm (w) x 11 cm (h), demonstrating minor loss of both silver and luminescent paint to the applicable elements, loosening of the eagle and banner, and some detachment of the reverse liner, a scarce variant sometimes encountered with a card stock backer, in very fine condition.
