A rare factory issue box for the Panzer Assault Badge, constructed of two pieces of beige card stock with sturdy magnetic metal stapled maintaining the integrity of both the box and lid, the former retaining a fully-intact manufacturer’s label with a maker’s mark of “HERMANN AURICH, DRESDEN A16” and an inscription of “50 STÜCK PANZERKAMPFABZEICHEN GLANZVERZINKT”, indicating that it formerly contained 50 Panzer Assault Badges of zink construction, measuring 16.5 cm (w) x 36 cm (l) x 7 cm (h), a rare factory-direct example for the issue of badges awaiting official awarding, in extremely fine condition.
