Softcover, the front and back cover with photographs, entitled "Edged Weapons of the Third Reich 1933-1945", by Frederick J. Stephens, published by Almark Publishing Company Limited of New Malden (London), Sussex, first published in 1972, printed in Great Britain by The Byron Press Limited of Wealdstone, Sussex, ISBN 0 85524 079 2. It begins with an Introduction by the author (dated May 1972), followed by a List of Contents. The book is divided into twenty-four sections: Army, Luftwaffe (the German Air Force), Kriegsmarine (The War Navy), SA (Sturmabteilung - the Storm Troops), SS (Schutzstaffel - The Elite Guard), NSKK (National Sozialistiches Kraftahr-Korps - National Socialist Motor Corps), Hitler Jugend (Hitler Youth), DLV and NSFK, RAD (Reichs Arbeitsdeinst - Reich Labour Service), TeNo (Technische Nothilfe - Technical Emergency Corps), RLB, DRK (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz - German Red Cross), Polizei and Feuerwehr (Police and Fire Department), Railway and Waterway Protection Services, Postal Protection Service, Zoll (Customs Service), Forestry Service (Forstbeamte), Hunting Association (Reichsbund Deutsche Jagerschaft), German Rifle Association, Mining Association (Bergban), NPEA, Diplomatic Service, Service and Dress Bayonets, Knives and Miscellaneous Edged Pieces.
